I expected this dryer to be as good as my previous LG and the permanent press cycle doesnt always dry the clothes. I have to always go back and out it on another cycle to get them dried. I want to use permanent press to avoid shrinkage and wrinkles but in the end I have to either press normal or towel cycle just to finish up the drying.

This LG dryer is amazing. It has a great sleek look and is super easy to use. The app for the dryer is awesome and has great cycles to download and use that I use all the time now as it is very specific to what I am drying. Bought new end of May. 1st dryer had obnoxious rattle while drying clothes. Returned and 2nd dryer still has same issue. Of interest is that the rattle only occurs with a load of clothes. When running without clothes you cant hear it and the dryer sounds fine. Quick Google search and I found that many are experiencing this issue and one solution is to stuff a thick towel between upper front left corner and the wall or washer which sometimes works. I suppose this would not be an issue if the laundry room was not next to kitchen.

Dryer Doesnt Work After 18 Months

The dryer stopped working after 18 months and when investigated the wiring within the unit had burned up and melted. Certainly worse than losing a dryer was the reality that it presented a fire hazard within our home. After contacting LG they informed us that they were not liable for their unit.

Large dryer. Love the two way door and the gray color and the window on the door. After I study online the millions of features I am sure I will like it even more. At first I did not think it dried well enough and I called LG. I was amazed how fast I reached a person and how they were competent. They suggested my dryer flap on the wall of the house was stuck I examined it seemed good and then used the dryer again and now it is fine. Maybe it had been stuck flap?

Loving my new Dryer

Although we had to have this dryer re-delivered due to a vibration issue the new dryer has exceeded my expectations. Sensor dry only works with very full load.

With only 2 of us now we dont have very large loads of laundry. The sensors dont work with medium to light loads so you have to use a timed cycle and guess at your dry time. Unless you do mostly large loads you are better off getting a smaller machine.

I bought this in December. As with all the washers I researched I was spooked by some less favorable reviews. So glad I went with the Consumer Reports recommendation and all the thrilled reviewers. Machine is easy to use and works well and quickly. Sometimes it does not dry clothes as much as I would like before shutting off. But very easy to set it for an additional 15-20 mins of dry time.

Flow Sense Error Result of in-complete construct

We continually experienced Flow Sense errors. THe top of the dryer was getting very hot so we were sure to keep things off of it. We inspected the vent hose from the dryer to the wall and we inspected the wall vent many many times in the course of the first year. Shortly after the warranty expired 2 months the dryer stopped heating. When the technician opened the dryer to replace the heating element we were BOTH shocked to see a years worth of lint inside the dryer. The blower vent was NEVER connected to the vent pipe. So the dryer kept sensing blockage but there was no way for us to know where that blockage was. The technician mentioned more than once that he had never seen anything so bad inside a dryer and that we are extremely fortunate to not have had a house fire I have been in touch with LG filed my claim and been told that the Product Liability Division would contact me within 3 business days. That was 10 days ago. Ill add photos to show you what we saw.

In love with a Dryer

I never thought that a dryer could make my life easier until now. My dryer is in a small space and it is very convenient to open the door from the top or the side depending on what happens to be in the room. The turbo steam feature has reduced the need to iron some of my clothes which frees up my time to do better things Wifi on the dryer lets me know when a load is done and helps me select settings. I can also start it if my clothes are not done yet. The dryer is very quiet and I cannot hear it above my TV. I never expected a dryer to be so feature-rich and make life easier for me. LG has done that.
